Dianne is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists who has worked in the field of counselling since 2004. Dianne’s varied career path has provided her with extensive experience and training in working with youth, couples, and families. Dianne enjoys working with a diverse clientele whose goal may be stress management, increasing their confidence, or working through a traumatic event.
Over the past several years Dianne has focused her professional development and practice on EMDR trauma treatment and working with Public Safety Personnel, including RCMP, Paramedics, Firefighters, Correction Officers, and Health Care Professionals. She has been trained as a facilitator of the BOS (Before Operational Stress) Program and completed the Warrior Health Program designed for mental healthcare providers serving this population. Dianne has developed a passion for working with frontline individuals including RCMP, Paramedics, Firefighters, Correction Officers, and Health Care Professionals.
Dianne is committed to supporting those who have been impacted by childhood or recent traumatic life events. She is honored to guide her clients as they work through their difficult life experiences utilizing the well-researched, evidence-based trauma therapy EMDR with her clients to process their traumatic experiences. In addition to traditional EMDR, Dianne offers EMDR intensives. Ultimately, it is Dianne’s hope that through the counselling process her clients are able to reduce the negative impact of their symptoms so they are able to live a more purposeful, authentic, fulfilling life.
